The Best Places to Meet Attractive Women Part 1

By Scott Patterson The one question that I receive almost daily from my male list subscribers is where they can find attractive women to approach. Most of them are tired of trying to talk to women in places like bars and clubs. Instead they want to find areas where there is a wide selection of good-looking women without too much competition from other guys. In my opinion, it's very easy to find interesting women. All you have to do is know where to look. But before you start looking, you should make a decision about what type of girl you want. For instance if you want to find a fun girl and have sex with no strings attached, then the best place to go would be a local bar or nightclub. So before you can even think of a place to find a woman, it's important to make a decision on you really want. This means asking yourself if you want a long term relationship or a quick hook-up. In addition, you should think about the type of girl you're seeking. This could be "the nice-girl", "the freak", "the outdoors girl" or "the athletic woman". Once you make a decision on what type of woman you want, you should start frequenting the areas where they go. So if you're trying to land an athletic girl, then you could try looking at places like your local gym, running club or co-ed athletic league. But what if you're having trouble thinking of a suitable place? Well if that is the case, then you should pay attention to this series of articles. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll cover the different types of women and where you can easily find them. Each article will profile a certain category of girl and where she frequently hangs out. As an example, in the next article I'll discuss where you can find "the nice girl". Speaking in general terms, you'll have little chance of finding the stereotypical nice girl in a bar or club. I'm not stating there aren't nice girls at these locations. Instead I am saying that a bar tends to create an atmosphere where people go for instant hook-ups. As a result, you'll be more likely to find a girl who likes to party rather then a woman you can "take home to mom". So if you're interested in finding a woman that matches your interests, then keep an eye out for future follow-ups to this article Scott Patterson is a master at meeting, approaching, and attracting women. To find out how you can pick-up ANY woman in 7 simple steps, check out his free ecourse Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Scott_Patterson http://EzineArticles.com/?The-Best-Places-to-Meet-Attractive-Women---Part-1&id=366659 ambien persistant vegetative state

What Women Are Secretly Telling You

By Scott Patterson Did you know that women are constantly sending us messages through their body language and mannerisms? If you don't pick up on these cues, then you're probably missing out on golden opportunities for approaching women. In fact, it's reported that over 90% of women's communication is done through their body language. So if you fail to see them, then you only have a 10% chance of understanding what women really want. Why is this important? Well there are many times when a woman uses her body language to tell you that she's interested in you. The problem is you've probably missed out on a lot of these signs or failed to recognize these body language cues. Why really annoys me is I often see guys do nothing after a woman purposely initiates eye contact with the sole intention of getting him to start a conversation. It's insane because men spend so much time trying to "pick up chicks", they often miss out on the obvious women who have demonstrated a clear indicator of attraction. So don't be like these guys! Take the time to look around a room and pay attention to women who are sending you subtle signals. Then all you have to do is walk up, introduce yourself and you'll be talking to a woman is already attracted to you. So if you ever encounter a situation where a girl is constantly making eye contact with you, this means she's interested in you. Don't be an ass and do nothing. Just confidently walk up to her and initiate a conversation! Want to learn 50 different ways to meet, approach and attract women? If so, take a look at Scott Patterson's Free eBook which provides 50 tips for approaching, attracting, and dating ANY woman. The Calories in Wine

By Jennifer Jordan The holidays are a time of year when many of us have to loosen our belt buckles just a bit, attempting to satisfy our expanding waistlines. It's not our fault; the pumpkin pie, the chocolate fudge, and the buttered yams all sit smugly on the dinner table, daring us to take a bite: yes, we are practically being force fed. Even so, the calories still add up, not just one crumb at a time but also one sip at a time. In moderation or in abundance, the calories of wine can make a difference in weight. Drinking a few servings a day gives you a few hundred more calories, giving you a few more pounds over time. For this reason, it's important to account for the calories consumed whenever you raise your glass. As a general rule, a glass of wine contains about 80 calories, when the term "glass" is comparable to 4 ounces and not comparable to a 7-11 Big Gulp. Fortified wine is typically higher in calories and wines with higher alcohol content - because alcohol is where the majority of the calories are generated - may pack a better punch, but they will also pack on more pounds. To put this in perspective, the US Department of Agriculture states that 100 grams of wine with a 12.2 alcohol content have roughly 85 calories; 100 grams of wine with a 18.8 alcohol content have 135 calories. The sugar in wine also plays as much a dramatic role as the alcohol; the higher the sugar content, the more calories it will have. For this reason, some dieters prefer to consume dry wines with lower alcohol content. Even when the above is taken into consideration, many wines contain a similar amount of calories or only differ by a small number. Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Burgundy, White Burgundy, Beaujolais, Chardonnay, Chianti, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc , Champagne , and White or Red Zinfandel all contain between 90 and 100 calories per serving. To tip the scales, Madeira, Muscatel, Ruby Port , White Port , and Tokay all contain between 160 and 180 calories per serving. No matter the type of wine consumed, people who drink do run the risk of gaining weight, but the wine itself is not the problem: rubbing the nose of your bottle of Port against your bathroom scale and repeatedly telling it "No" is unwarranted. It's not the consumption of wine that adds pounds, it's the consumption of wine without cutting back on food. Wine, like other liquids, doesn't have the ability to curb our appetite. Thus, many of us start to drink wine without taking into consideration the extra calories and we consume our regular caloric intake through food. When the calories of wine are added to our regular intake, additional calories are consumed. Still, these additional calories are often better for you than additional calories from other alcoholic sources. When compared to other alcohol, wine has a slight edge. Beer, particularly light beer, may be less caloric than wine, as a 12 ounce light beer typically has 100 calories, but beer doesn't possess the health benefits of wine; it doesn't have the antioxidants. When compared to mixed drinks and straight shots, wine wins bottles down. Mixed drinks, especially when mixed with sugary sodas, and shots of hard alcohol are very caloric and contain no health benefit. They have nothing to offer but calories and they know it, leaving them to sometimes throw themselves down the drain when the bartender is not looking. Drinking wine doesn't have to equal increased pounds. One way to have your wine and drink it too is to simply adopt physical activity as a means to make up for the additional calories - instead of driving to the bar, walk there; instead of pushing a cart through a liquor store, carry your supplies; instead of drunk dialing your ex-lovers, jog to their house and speak to them. You can also keep from gaining weight by cutting back on the calories consumed through other means - eat less candy during the day; have a banana for a snack instead of a muffin; eat a salad instead of a steak. Adopting a few of these habits will make room for the wine calories you consume. If, for some reason, these habits don't quite work, getting rid of wine is not the answer. Instead, simply remember two little words: liquid diet. When Was Buddhism Founded

By N M Gangoli This article is an answer to the question, when was Buddhism founded? Buddhism originally arose out of the teaching and enlightenment of Siddharth Gautama. Siddharth Gautama was the first of many Buddhas or enlightened masters - who have enriched the Buddhist tradition. Buddhism is a living seed and contains many powerful methods to attain enlightenment. Its teaching have helped many persons to become enlightened. The Buddha lived approximately between the years 563-483 BCE. He attained understanding in around 531 BCE and spent the rest of his life preaching and propagating his teaching. The Buddha lived a life of luxury in a royal household till he was 29. On coming in touch with the fact that suffering is inevitable he decided to leave this life and take to monastic ways. The Buddha practiced severed austerities for about 6 years and learned meditation from many masters of his time. The austerities were so severe that he was reduced to mere skin and bones. It was only when he gave up this extreme also and practiced the Middle Way that he achieved his breakthrough. He found himself in Gaya (in the present state of Bihar in North India) and after a long time had a meal of milk and rice. Then refreshed, he did an all night meditation sitting. And he was enlightened towards the dawn when the morning star arose. So, this is when was Buddhism founded. The Buddha must have been around 35 at that time. After that the Buddha went to some five ascetics with whom he had practiced austerities earlier. These ascetics had abandoned him in Gaya when they had seen him eating and drinking. They were determined not to welcome the Buddha now. But when the Buddha approached his sense of presence and majesty was such that they welcomed him and offered him water to drink. The Buddha then preached to them the first sermon that about suffering, the cause of suffering and the cessation of suffering. The Buddha taught his teaching for the next 45 years till his death. He won over the people and gathered many followers, who became monks, to follow his way. He ultimately died at the age of 80 at about 483 BCE. This teaching became the Theravada tradition of Buddhism. It is also called the Path of the Elders or the Southern school and is regarded as the Buddha's original teaching. There is also the Mahayana tradition, Tibetan Buddhism and Zen all of which developed later. So, this is an answer to the question when was Buddhism founded. Buddhism then spread to many countries in East and North Asia. Burma, China, Tibet, Japan, and Vietnam are some of the countries to which it spread. Buddhism at all times has been a living seed and has grown and changed and adapted itself to suit the different countries in which it found itself. There have been many enlightened masters who have enriched and grown the Buddhist teaching. Nagarjuna, Padmasambhava and Bodhidharma are only three names in a distinguished list. So, this is the answer to the question when was Buddhism founded. Is My Child Ready For A Family Pet?

By Jennifer Gove At some point every child asks that all time famous question. Can I have a pet? While owning a pet fosters responsibility and compassion, some children are just not ready to help take care of a pet. It is a huge responsibility and one that must be given careful thought. There are many things you should consider as a family. What kind of pet? What kind of pet would fit into your life style best. There are many options from large dogs to little fish. You should carefully consider the needs of each and what you think will fit into you life style as well. The happiest pet is one with happy owners that dont feel stressed by its care and needs. You should study into types as well as breeds so you know exactly what to expect breeds. Can you afford the addition of a pet? Now that you have decided on a type of pet. You need to consider the cost of owning a pet. Pets even if you are given on free are very expensive. If you have a dog or a cat there will be vet visits, food, licensing, toys and supplies and if your pet should become sick there are medications they may need. Owning a pet is very expensive. Do you have the time? Animals require attention just like we do as human beings. The need to be feed, groomed, walked, played with. They need to know they are loved. With out proper care they will suffer. Families that are going threw major changes such as a move or birth of a child or that work long hours may just not have the time. My home Do you live in an apartment? Is a pet ok with your landlord? Will you have to pay a separate pet deposit? Do you have the space? Is there room in the back yard for a pet to roam? Are there laws in your area regarding scooping and licensing? What are they? My child Is he or she ready? Owning a pet is a family matter. Never surprise your child with a pet they are not expecting. Expectations about the pets care and exercise should be laid out clearly. Many children loose interest in a pet after the first few weeks and leave mom and dad to care for the pet. Pets require gentle handling and understanding do you think your child is ready for that? How do they react to animals you see out in public? Are they rough, or afraid? It may be better if they learn some animal care before you add a pet to your home. Visits to the local animal shelter are a wonderful start and often the staff is willing to teach basic animal care to children. Remember A pet is a huge commitment. Many pets live for at least 15 years with proper care. Will you still want this commitment then? Puppies, kittens and such are cute, but they grow and have needs that must be met. How Water Can Help You Lose Weight Naturally

By Gary T It may be surprising but water makes up 2/3 of your body mass. You need water to maintain an optimum level of hydration, flush away harmful toxins, cleanse the body, cool off, help joints work and to aid food digestion. You need 2 liters of water daily for all these bodily functions. Wow, isn't that a whole mouthful? But wait, water is also important in helping you lose weight. Yes, drinking sufficient water can actually help you lose weight. On the contrary, not drinking enough water can make you put on weight, besides putting your health at risk. But how does water help you lose weight? Here's how and why:- 1. Your body's metabolism depends on water to continue functioning properly. Not having enought water will significantly slow down the process of breaking food down and converting it into energy. This will lead to unnecessary weight gain for you. So, if youre dieting and you seem to have hit the dreaded plateau, then you are probably not drinking enough water. Drink more water to correct the situaion. 2. Your bodys process of digestion and elimination of residues is also dependent on water. Not drinking enough water? Get ready for an uncomfortable case of constipation and a host of other problems in the intestines. Poor digestion leads the body to seek out more food since the body "thinks" that it is not eating enough. This is usually the first sign of trouble for you.. A dehydrated or water-deprived body feels hungry, thus tempting you to eat more food than you should. 3. Water also acts as a good food filler or substitute. A big cup or glass of water before a meal can fill your belly and reduce your hunger pangs. That's why dietitians and weight loss experts advise us to drink lots of water to fill up our tummy first. Now you know why! You should drink water gradually and steady throughout the day. Never drink a larger gulp all at once because your body can only absorb so much at one time. It will discard the rest as waste so that that's bad for you. You can also take fruit juices, weak tea and coffee instead of plain water for hydration purposes. And for the ladies, drinking a lot of water will not make you retain it. Dehydration forces your body to hang on to what it has, not abundance of water. Wedding Dress Basics

By Julia Tweed Most brides say that the selection of their wedding dress was the most enjoyable part of the wedding planning process. Many women love to shop, and even if you don't, who can deny that trying on beautiful gowns makes them feel special. Before you begin to shop for your wedding dress, however, you need to consider the following: 1) Your budget. How much money did you set aside for your wedding dress? Remember to take into consideration the cost of the accessories such as the veil, jewelry, tiara, shoes, undergarments, garter, etc. The dress doesn't have to be expensive to be beautiful. You should, however, make certain that the dress you buy is of good quality. 2) Your style of wedding. Will you have an indoor or outdoor wedding? Will it be formal, informal, theme, religious? What time of year are you getting married? Take the season and what the weather will be like into consideration when selecting the gown. You need to tie your "look" into the style and setting of your wedding. 3) Is there a dress code? If you are planning a religious wedding or a wedding in a house of worship, make certain that you know what they feel is appropriate attire. When you actually begin shopping, allow yourself plenty of time. You don't want to feel rushed or pressured while shopping. It will help to look through bridal magazines, or do some research on the internet before you shop. Learn the lingo so you can better communicate with the sales associate and gather ideas about what style of gown you would like to look at. You must, however, go into the shopping experience with an open mind. Try on many different styles to determine what looks best on your body type. Also try on different colored gowns (white, ivory, champaign) to choose the best shade to complement your skin tone. Give yourself options and time to think by shopping other places before you buy. Don't buy the first dress you like. By visiting several bridal shops before you buy you are making certain you are getting the best price for your gown and you are also getting a better look at the selections available to you. Listen to the sales associate and get her opinion. She is an expert and she can advise you on the appropriate style for you, however, the decision is yours and yours alone. Trust your instincts, if you need to be convinced that it's the dress for you, then it isn't. You will know when you have found the right dress based on how it makes you feel. You should feel comfortable in the gown and it should fit you correctly. The dress should make you feel like a million bucks. The bride in her wedding dress is the center of the entire wedding ceremony. If you feel beautiful in your wedding dress it will show through in your smile and you will indeed be beautiful on your wedding day. This article was written by Julia Tweed. The Model Student - A Red Flag for Parents!

By Pamela Connolly Are you frustrated with your child's learning issues and the public school system? Has your child been diagnosed with a disability? Is the teacher (they call them now "facilitators") annoyed with the activity level of your child? Is your child failing to understand the lessons because they don't pay attention? Is your child a daydreamer? Is your child failing to process information correctly? Is it just a brain thing? Does your child talk too much? Is your child disruptive or too social? Has your child been sent to the mental health professional (required in every public school) for evaluation? Did you give your permission? Is the teacher recommending pharmaceuticals. Do you think it's your child's fault? It is NOT your child's fault! And don't think the answer is in pharmaceuticals. The answer is YOU! Don't feel alone. Many children struggle in school unnecessarily and never get any help. If your child does not fit into the model demanded by the school with its many requirements and mandates, the teachers try to convince you there must be something wrong with the child! The structure of the school is never suspect. There is a movement afoot to negate natural learning, creativity and curiosity of the child along with the devaluing the role of the parents. (Remember "It Takes a Village".) Many parents are willing to go along with this because it requires less time and creativity on their part plus if things go aria they can blame someone else! Let's just take a moment and examine the model, AKA the ideal child/student in the eyes of the public institutions. This ideal student sits in his chair without squirming, wiggling, moving or talking. This student does not speak unless called upon by the teacher. This student does not have contact with other students in the class except at recess or when working on a team project. This student, after sitting, playing and participating at the appropriate times during the school day waits in line for the bus, and sits on the bus without moving or talking too loudly until they get home. If conflict erupts between students, the teacher mediates with conflict resolution methodology. And if both students do not relinquish their point, agree or apologize, the uncooperative student is sent to the mental health professional for evaluation. Now just stand back and look at this model student! Is this the way nature intended children to act? What are the children learning? Are they learning to be creative? To be self-confident? To be self-starters? To be leaders? Or even being taught that being a leader is a positive trait? Do you value the traits of this model student that is a result of this environment? I hope your answer is no! The demands made on children to fit into this prescribed environment are against nature. They are contrary to the needs of a developing human being! They are in direct opposition to developing the characteristics that made our nation great! So, what can YOU do about It? Take control of what, when and how your children learn. If you are concerned about the current culture, opt out and create your own. You can home school! Contrary to public opinion, home schooled children are self-starters who develop the self-confidence to know what they know, what they don't know, and how to find what they need to know. They have the creativity to think outside the box. Socially they have many opportunities to join clubs, field trip groups, study groups, and teams. They are accustomed to being with people of different groups. Different ages, sexes, colors, ethnicities, and religions. Because of this exposure their knowledge, interests and experiences are far more varied and expansive than the public educated child. In addition to seeing pictures of things in text books, home schooled children have the flexibility to go out and see things first hand and have a multitude of exciting experiences. The world is their classroom and the parents are the teachers who take any moment and turn it into a lesson, regardless of a prescribed class time. The benefits of home schooling are limitless and the drawbacks are manageable. Will your turn to pharmaceuticals or allow the real child to develop? The power is in your hands! How to Prevent Holiday Weight Gain

By Chris Chenoweth The Holiday season, for most, is an exciting time of year full of celebrations. Unfortunately, most of the festivities include lots of traditional foods and seasonal treats, most of them rich in fat and calories. It is no wonder we put on weight at this time of year and start the new year on a diet. How can we avoid the weight gain without feeling deprived and miserable? Though it may seem impossible to avoid all those rich and delicious foods, there are ways you can share in the fun without increasing your waistline. The secret is ALL THINGS IN MODERATION. When you use this approach to all things during the holiday season, including what you eat and what activities you participate in, you can avoid the extra weight while still enjoying the festivities in a healthier fashion. Try the following tips to avoid weight gain and extra stress: *DRINK LOTS OF WATER. This will flush the toxins out of your body and help decrease your appetite. *NEVER SKIP MEALS. If you are planning a large meal late in the day, make sure you eat your regular meals during the day. Otherwise, you will be ravenous and eat way too much food. *STICK TO YOUR REGULAR ROUTINE. Try to get enough sleep and regular exercise. This will help keep your stress level under control. Too much stress can cause too much eating. If you do not have time for your usual fitness routine, adjust according to your schedule. Ten minutes of exercise is better than none! *STASH HEALTHY SNACKS IN YOUR DESK. If your office is deluged with treats from co-workers during holiday time who want to share their goodies, practice restraint. If you eat a healthy breakfast and lunch you will not feel so hungry and you will be less likely to over indulge between meals. If you do decide to try some of those tasty treats, remember to do so in moderation. Never stuff yourself. You will only feel miserable and probably disgusted with yourself afterward. *NEVER SAVE UP YOUR CALORIES. Do not ever starve yourself all day trying to save up your calories for an evening event. By the time the party starts, you will be famished and will eat everything in sight! If you are planning to attend a holiday festivity in the evening, make sure you eat your regular meals during the day, including a healthy snack right before the party. You will be less tempted to eat too much. *EAT YOUR VEGGIES. If you are at a party where there are lots of hors doeuvres, check out the healthy food options before you start digging in. Your best options are raw vegetables, fruit, chicken, or whole grain crackers. After you have indulged yourself on the healthy snacks, you can then move on to the more yummy options. You will not be so tempted to overdo and you will not feel deprived. In the same vein, if you are taking food to a holiday party, take something that is healthy. If you are hosting a party, make sure there are plenty of healthy low calorie snacks and water available for your guests. *DO NOT STAY NEAR THE FOOD. Stay away from the kitchen and the buffet table as you may find yourself unconsciously stuffing food into your mouth. Holiday festivities are all about socializing with family and friends so spend your time doing that and you will be far less tempted to eat. *DO NOT WASTE CALORIES ON ALCOHOL. An alcoholic drink can contain up to 250 calories per glass. This can easily add up to a full meals worth of calories in a short time. If you must indulge, try limiting yourself to one drink. If that is not sufficient, try mixing your drinks with water or diet soda. This will cut those calories down considerably. These suggestions should help you keep your weight gain down and reduce your stress level while still enjoying the seasons festivities. Remember, the secret to having a successful experience at holiday time is to keep everything in moderation. Create a Network and Catapult Your Job Search

By Teena Rose Networking is still known as a great job-search strategy, yet it eludes some individuals simply because they dont know how to go about it. Individuals also tend to shy away from networking because its time consuming. Unlike online rsum submission or folding a rsum, stuffing it in an envelope, and adhering a stamp, networking requires far more time and dedication. The results, however, can be quite different than those experienced from traditional rsum submission. Your network incorporates everyone around you, such as your preacher, doctor, neighbors, friends, colleagues, and/or fellow committee members. The object is to talk, ask, brainstorm, and seek the assistance of others that know of an opportunity or contact that you do not. Have you heard of Stanley Milgrims theory of Six Degrees of Separation (more popularly known by the movie, starring Kevin Bacon)? His theory states that there are only 6 people separating you and someone youd like to meet or get in touch with, such as a hiring or human resources manager. Like anything critical in your life, you must be prepared to network. Hold a small portfolio to house several prints of your rsum along with other pertinent material. Collect business cards from everyone you meet and make notation of the place and date on the card. This information is needed should you speak with this person again. Youll make an impression by referencing your previous conversation, along with the date and occasion (e.g. name of seminar or conference). The card will also be handy when youre given a job lead. Generally the intro paragraph of a cover letter will reference something like, When I spoke to Sarah McNeil on August 1, 2002, she mentioned that you are looking for a clerk typist and suggested that I contact you. Obtaining a persons card will keep you from misspelling the persons name and remind you of the person that gave you the lead. Effective networking will cause your card portfolio to fill up quickly and make it difficult for you to keep names and companies straight in your mind. BTW, dont forget to give your lead a small gift or handwritten thank-you card if you land the job. Small gestures, such as a job lead, can oftentimes be forgotten. As I mentioned, networking takes time; but the results can be more rewarding than rsum blasting (sending your rsum to anyone, if not everyone). Steven R. Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, wrote, We have the initiative and the responsibility to make things happen. This statement applies to everything in our lives, especially those affecting our careers. Networking (although time consuming) can change the entire face of our beings and open the door to more opportunities than we ever dreamed possible. Even when employed, your network should be tended. Keep in touch with select individuals through thank-you cards and e-mails. Offer your services and knowledge to them should the opportunity arise anything that will make his or her life easier. I also recommend that you present individuals in your network with key opportunities that may come across your desk in the future. The best way to get is to first give. Give your acquaintances the chance to be quoted in an incoming article or book or opt to purchase products or services from them. A $15 purchase will show that person that you care about their success. Another great aspect of networking is to find new friends that will strengthen your network and challenge you to succeed. Within the first three months in business, I met two individuals that I associate with now four years later. One has a degree in journalism and is incredibly smart concerning the English language, and the other is a technical guru that I call immediately if I have trouble with one of my computers. Both are incredibly skilled in their fields, and ultimately make my business stronger because we each look out for the other. We talk, we negotiate, and we bounce ideas off each other. Now thats a network! The Truth About Mosquitos and Water Gardens

By Keith Davitt When I give presentations on water features, many people ask, What about mosquitos? Given what they can carry, the concern is real and legitimate. The truth, however, is that there need be no fear of breeding mosquitos whatsoever, for any kind of water feature. Heres why. There are both biological and mechanical means for ensuring that not one mosquito breeds in your water feature. If the water is moving, as in a stream, a wall fountain, a tub garden with a fountain or a small pond with a waterfall, the mosquitos will not lay their eggs there. Its a high risk situation for the larvae and newly hatched so they just dont do it. If you have a pond with still water, simply put in a fish or two. These dont need to be mosquito fish (Gambusia affinis) either. Ordinary pond fish or Koi will eat the larvae and Ill tell you how I first discovered this. I built a pond for a man, filled it with water and let it sit over the weekend to ensure there were no leaks. On Monday there were thousands of mosquito larvae squiggling about, going from the bottom to the top and down again. I bought three small pond fish and put them in. The next day there was not one larvae left. The presence of fish ensure no mosquitos. But there are other means too. There is a naturally occuring bacillus called Bti you can add to your pond. The mosquito larvae eat them and die, yet it is not harmful to pets, fish, wildlife or humans. You can buy it as Mosquito Dunk or Mosquito Bits. If you like the idea of encouraging various forms of wildlife, there are several natural predators to mosquitos and their young. Toads can consume quite a quantity of mosquitos and can be encouraged to make a home of your pond garden. Dragonfly nymphs can be purchased and will wantonly devour mosquito larvae. Because Dragonflies have a very long (up to two years) nymph stage, a few added to your pond now and again not only will prevent mosquitos from hatching, they will reduce the mosquito population. If you dont like the idea of more creatures in your garden, get a propane powered mosquito trap. These have a tremendous range and will also reduce the overall mosquito population of your area as the mosquitos are attracted by the scent, drawn into a trap from which they never emerge. One or more of these methods will ensure that you can have your water feature without ANY risk of breeding mosquitos. Cooking Dinner for Your Date

By Peter Portero Cooking dinner for your date is a great way to combine tradition with modern ideals. This is often an overlooked activity, and one that more people should try out. Cooking dinner for your date will allow them to see a more personal side of you; and this can go a long way in ensuring a happy and healthy relationship. Cooking dinner is much more personal than taking your date out. Not to mention the fact that you will get to show off some of your skills to your date. But before you decide on cooking dinner for your date, make sure you take care of a couple of things. First, make sure that you ask your date what his or her favorite dish is. This way you know that they are going to get something that they like. There is nothing worse than putting a lot of time into a meal, just to find out that your date does not like what you made. The easiest way around this is to simply ask your date what they like to eat. Also, make sure that you are capable of making his or her favorite meal. Cooking a meal may seem easy enough, but if you have never done it you may be in for a big shock. A trial run is a good way to ensure that you get things right on your date. Practice a couple of nights in advance so you can work out all of the kinks. Chances are your date will be so impressed with your thoughtful gesture, he or she wont even care what it tastes like! Let Your Flowering Peach Tree Bloom With These Planting Tips

By Lee Dobbins The flowering peach tree is a very familiar tree for most people. This tree is recognized for its vase shape that can grow up to 25 feet in height and bears lots of fruits. People also love the pink flowers that bloom from the peach tree. The peach tree is part of the Rosaceae family and genus Prunus. It goes with the almond tree in the subgenus of Amygdalus. They are distinguished by their seed shells that are corrugated. The leaves of the peach tree are categorized as lanceolate that grows from seven to fifteen centimeters long. The peach fruit has a very delicate scent and almost velvet-like skin. The flowers of the peach tree bloom every early spring even earlier than the leaves get to grow. The petals can either be solitary or paired depending on the variety. They generally consist of five petals that can come in different colors of pink, white or red. The peach tree took its scientific name Persica from the belief in early Europe that this originated from Iran which was known back then as Persia. Today, it is established that the tree is actually a native of China which was only introduced later on to Persia. There are several varieties of the peach tree that have been already propagated. This gives lovers of the peach tree flowers a good selection to choose from. Here are some of the more popularly known types. Double White - This kind is depicted sufficiently by the name. It has a profuse shape and paired white petals. Helen Borchers - The flowers of Helen Borchers have extra large petals in pink. They are in solitary petals. Peppermint Stick - The peppermint stick variety is distinguishable with its paired white petals and pink stripes. Late Double Red - This variety consists of red petals in pairs. They remain a perfect sight even when winter time comes as they are able to avoid well the frost. Weeping Double - The weeping double varieties have pendulous branches. They can come in colors of pink and red. Royal Redleaf - The Royal Redleaf consists of good foliage in bright-red at the early part of their blooming. They later turn into bronze-green which remains a delightful view. Tips for Growing the Flowering Peach Tree 1. Correct Climate Flowering peach trees are also very choosy in the climates that they thrive in. Most of the varieties require a chilling requirement, making it rather difficult for them to grow in the extremely cold areas. They cannot tolerate the cold in later winter. Generally, the peach trees varieties may be able to tolerate temperatures of negative 26 to negative 30 degrees Celsius, but such a condition tends to kill the buds of the flowers thus growing fruits is impossible. The flowering peach trees actually seek a lot of the heat of the summer time to be able to let its fruits mature. Temperatures ranging from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius would be most favourable. 2. Proper Soil Characteristic Peach trees require the right soil characteristic in order to grow fully and bear colourful flowers. Avoid as much as possible too much moisture in the soil. They do not like heavy quality of soil too. Just make sure the soil has the right amount of fertilizer and aeration. With the right kind of soil, the peach tree will surely grow fast and healthy. 3. Fight the Pests It is very important to protect the peach tree against pests that may invade their environment. This could impede the growth of the tree and the blooming of the flowers. The main enemy to be cautious of is the peach tree borer. There are also some insects and fungus that can threaten the tree. This may require occasional or regular application of pesticides or spraying. Conclusion Bring nature closer to your home. Plant a flowering peach tree and enjoy the delights of its view, flowers and fruits Lee Dobbins writes for http://floweringtrees.garden-g8way.com where you can learn more about flowering trees like the flowering peach tree. 5 Ways to Drastically Improve Your Resume in 10 Minutes of Less

By Vincent Czaplyski Follow these quick and easy tips to build yourself a better
resume in under 10 minutes flat. * Use strong, action oriented language that describes
specific skills or accomplishments. Go through your resume from top to bottom and eliminate weak
language. Don't write "Was in charge of large graphic design
department that increased company revenues" when you can say
"Managed 12 graphic artists in major creative projects that
increased revenues by over 3 million last year." Whenever possible, eliminate all forms of the verb "to be"
(is, are, was, am and so on), as demonstrated in the
previous example. Instead, replace them with strong action
words that paint a compelling picture. * Add bullets. Bullets are a great way to transform lists that would
otherwise make tedious reading in paragraph form, or that
would benefit by a cleaner layout. They make the job of
reading your resume more pleasant for the reader. A perfect
candidate for bullets is a list of accomplishments related
to a single job. For example, "Postmaster, 1998 -2003"
followed by 3 or 4 major accomplishments in bullet form. * Write a specific, concise job description. If the job you really want is "Director of Human Resources
at a Fortune 1000 company," say so. Don't write "Middle
management position at a large or mid-size company" or
something equally vague. That covers a lot of territory. You
need to help the company with the exact job you're looking
for find you. Put yourself in the hiring manager's shoes.
Would you call a candidate for an interview in the hopes
that she is a good match, or would you call the person whose
job description specifically indicates she wants the job? * Don't include every single position you've ever held. Your resume is a document designed to land you an interview,
followed by a job offer. There will be times when omitting a
position - especially if it has no relevance to the position
you are seeking, may be in your best interest. This is easy
to do where omitting short term positions or special
projects conducted as part of an ongoing job assignment will
not create an obvious "hole" in your background that you
will need to explain. (There are ways to avoid making an employer suspicious of
resume rough spots, like gaps in experience or experience
that lacks relevance to the position you are seeking. A
professional resume writer can offer you specific advice on
ways to do so, considering your unique background.) * Spell check. When you're finished improving your resume, run a final
spell check. Your word processor's spell checker probably
won't contain all the acronyms and specialized industry
jargon that your resume likely contains. In that case, take
the time to manually check each flagged item to make sure
your resume is spelling error-free. Follow these five easy tips for a better resume, fast! Copywriter and consultant Vincent Czaplyski is founder of

Insects and Animals and Your Lawn

By Terry Blackburn This is perhaps the part about lawn care that causes people to become ill or at least very upset. But lets face it, the lawn is the great outdoors after all and there will be many creatures that occupy it. The number of insects, rodents, and other creatures will vary depending on where you live. But some common insects and others include: spiders
bees
flies
mosquitoes
slugs
mice
worms
small snakes
ants
grasshoppers
chipmunks
squirrels
rabbits
deer While you cannot destroy every living creature that inhabits your yard, you can help keep these creatures from destroying your plants and flowers. Many weed killers are also bug killers. Once you have determined which insects are eating you plants, you should be able to find a chemical solution to the problem. You should approach some of these insects and small animals with caution, however. Certain species of spider are poisonous, while other insects can cause huge welts to form on your skin if you are not careful. And deer, well, lets just hope you are never chased down the street by one! Your life flashing before you as you leap onto another persons porch hoping the deer will keep on going. Always year your gloves and do not touch snakes, small rodents, and other animals. You could run the risk of spending your Saturday afternoon in the emergency room instead of tending to your lawn. In order to reduce the number of insects on your lawn, you should: rake the leaves during the fall and spring and get rid of the piles immediately clean gutters often clean overhangs, porch railings, and lawn furniture replenish mulch each year mow the lawn when it needs it These simple housekeeping tips will help you keep your lawn neat and clean while reducing the number of insects. Planting herbs such as rosemary and basil will help reduce the number of mosquitoes. Marigolds will help keep certain types of beetles away as well. But some insects are good for your lawn. Help them stick around by planting Dogwood, butterfly weed, and Queen Annes lace. These plants will also attract butterflies and wild birds to your lawn. While you cannot always pick your neighbours, you do have a little control over other types of pests. By planting flowers and plants strategically around your lawn, you will not only keep insects at bay, you will also enhance your lawns beauty. Terry Blackburn. Interest Only Loans

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jame_Smith]Jame Smith Interest only loans are interest centric. In, this kind of loan a borrower only pays the interest due on the principal balance. In such cases, the principal balance does not change over the set term. After the expiry of the interest only term, the borrower has an option to go for the following: The borrower can covert the existing loan to an amortized loan wherein he makes regular payments on the principal and the interest. The borrower can also enter what is known as interest only mortgage, wherein he can make the payment on the principal amount. The interest-only period varies from one country to another. In the United States, the interest-only period, typically, is for five or ten years. This essentially means that if a borrower has to pay a loan over a period of thirty years, he can only go for the interest-only option for the first five years or first ten years. This is dependant on the choice he/she makes and the money lending organization. After the interest-only term is over the amortization of the principal balance takes place for the remaining years. The primary advantage of the interest-only loan is that the initial payments are much lower than the payment that a person makes later on. This enables borrowers to plan accordingly and they can borrow more amount of money than they can afford. This is done by taking into consideration the hope that their salaries might just see a substantial increase over the term of the loan. It can be said that when a person takes an interest-only mortgage (as in the US), the individual is paying the rent for the house. This is because there is no decrease in the amount of the principal loan. In countries like the United Kingdom, interest only loans are getting increasingly popular, as this is one way to buy any asset, whose price is not likely to depreciate much over time. If, at the end of the loan period a person is unable to pay the principal amount, the asset can be sold to repay the capital. Some countries allow a person to combine the interest-only loan with a myriad of financial options. This is illustrated by an example of Canada, which allows a combination of interest-only mortgage with options like corporate bonds etc. While going for interest only loans, you must evaluate your options very carefully. As in the case of all loans, there are a few disadvantages as well. In many cases, you might have to pay property tax. In other cases, you have to buy property insurance that is a mandatory requirement when you take an interest-only loan. At times, a person has to pay a tax on his/her property and purchase the property insurance. James has been writing about mortgages for many years and offers information on the different types of mortgages available from the web site http://www.1mortgagesuk.co.uk Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jame_Smith http://EzineArticles.com/?Interest-Only-Loans&id=312281 buy phentermine using mastercard
